DETROIT – Due to the strong possibility of severe rain this Saturday (9/13) the People’s Art’s Festival will be postponed until Sunday September 21.

“We regret having to make this decision,” said Chris Mihailovich, who manages the Russell Industrial Center and is one of the Festival’s initial founders. “We are grateful to the artists, filmmakers and musicians who have worked so hard to make the Festival a success, but we feel postponing the Festival a week will be better for participants and certainly better for attendees.”

“Our thanks go out to the entire Detroit artistic community,” Mihailovich said. “Hopefully on September 21 they’ll join us to make this year’s Festival a success.”
